Measles bounce back in Europe

The World Health Organization says there is a major outbreak of measles in Europe. The WHO says the rise in the disease is a result of falling levels of immunisation in many countries.

And that’s blamed on a 1998 British study, now discredited, linking the vaccine for measles, mumps and rubella to autism.

Al Jazeera’s Paul Brennan has the story on how an easily preventable disease is once again flourishing, to the dismay of doctors.
